Billing & plans

Quincer AI uses simple monthly tiers. No per-message surcharges on any paid plan. All billing runs through Stripe and is manageable from your dashboard.

People directory. The Directory people row above is how many staff you can list. The roster itself — people the AI can add as meeting attendees and take working hours from — is not sold separately; what the Scale plan adds is the two phone capabilities: transferring a live caller to a named person (the Transfer callers by name row) and letting the AI look someone up by name mid-call.

If that row reads 0 on your plan, the ceiling has not been provisioned on this deployment yet rather than the feature being withheld — the Directory screen will say so, and support can raise it. The row is generated from the live plan catalog, so it always reflects what your deployment will actually enforce.

Upgrading

Everything happens on the Billing page. The Current plan card at the top shows your active tier, a status badge, and a Manage billing button (the Stripe customer portal). Below it, Available plans lays out every tier as a card — your current one is outlined and its button reads Current plan, while higher tiers show Upgrade and lower ones show Downgrade. In the panel below, clicking Upgrade on a card is what starts checkout.

Downgrade

The Available plans grid on the Billing page — each tier is a card; the button reads Upgrade, Downgrade, or Current plan relative to yours.

  1. Open Billing in the dashboard sidebar.
  2. Pick the plan you want and click Upgrade.
  3. You'll be redirected to Stripe Checkout. Enter card details.
  4. You return to the dashboard, and the upgrade takes effect immediately. Prorated charges apply.

Downgrading

  1. Open Billing.
  2. Click Change plan and pick a lower tier.
  3. The downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, not immediately.
!

If your current usage exceeds the lower tier's limits (e.g. you're on Growth with 5 integrations and want to downgrade to Starter), Quincer AI asks you to remove the excess before confirming.

Canceling

From Billing, click Cancel subscription. You retain full access until the end of the current billing period; after that, the workspace reverts to Free.

Usage tracking

Further down the Billing page, the Monthly usage card meters what you've consumed this billing period. In the panel below, each row is a bar with the label on the left, the used / limit count on the right, and a % used readout beneath — the bar turns yellow past 70% and red past 90%. A separate Resources card lists the fixed counts (widgets, personas, knowledge items, team members, integrations) as used / limit, turning red at the cap. When you cross 80% on any metered resource, the workspace owner gets a heads-up email.

Invoices & receipts

All invoices are issued by Stripe and emailed to the workspace billing contact (defaults to the owner). Past invoices are listed under Billing → Invoices and can be downloaded as PDF.

To change the billing email, VAT / tax ID, or the on-invoice company name, use Billing → Billing details.

Invoice billing (enterprise)

Enterprise accounts can be billed by invoice on net payment terms instead of an upfront card charge. Rather than entering a card at Stripe Checkout, your subscription is created on your organization's own Stripe billing account and Stripe issues an open invoice in your company's name, due within the agreed net window (for example, net-30). Your workspace is activated immediately — no card and no synchronous charge are required up front.

The invoice is a standard Stripe invoice: it's addressed in your organization's name, appears alongside your other invoices under Billing → Invoices, and can be viewed and paid from manage-billing like any other Quincer invoice.

!

Invoice billing isn't self-serve from the Billing page — the Quincer team provisions it for enterprise accounts. To arrange net-term invoicing, contact billing@quincer.com or your sales contact.

Annual plans

All tiers are available with annual billing at roughly a 20% discount. Toggle Monthly / Annual at the top of the plans page.

Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)

If you'd rather pay OpenAI or Anthropic directly for LLM inference, you can. In Settings → AI, paste your OpenAI or Anthropic API key. Quincer AI encrypts it at rest and uses it for every conversation on this workspace. Your Quincer AI plan is then discounted accordingly.

Refunds

Quincer AI offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on first-time upgrades. Email billing@quincer.com within 14 days of your first charge and we'll refund in full, no questions asked.
